What are you going to do?

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and motivated R&D engineer that would like to perform kinematic and dynamic assessments of multibody mechanisms and components and optimize their performance in turbochargers developed for European car manufacturers. At MTEE, we always aim to include as many real life situations in our research and analysis where possible. This means we will take into account body deformation, fluid-structure interaction, dynamic load conditions and lifecycle assessment during the optimization of our turbocharger designs. For these activities, you and your colleagues will have access to advanced in-house testing equipment, leading commercial software packages and high performance computing hardware.

What skills can you bring?

Are you interested in becoming a new R&D team member? We will seriously consider enthusiastic candidates that meet the following criteria:

  • You have at least a M.Sc. degree in mechanical, automotive or aerospace engineering from a respected research university;
  • You like to become responsible for optimizing dynamic performance of components and their interaction in advanced turbocharger systems;
  • You know how to perform multi-body dynamics analysis, analysis of structural mechanics, NVH, tribology or lifecycle assessments and/or you are eager to develop your skills and experience in these fields further;
  • You have a basic understanding of CAE and optimization software packages;
  • You are a structured worker with a result-oriented focus and analytical mindset;
  • You are a good communicator and like to work together with fellow specialists on challenging R&D projects and new product development.
